A JUMPER Index is a Semantic Web server for referencing structured data using RDF/OWL descriptive ontologies and JUMP-OWL metadata profiles. It allows you to build OWL ontologies and JUMP models to to describe structured data both logically and physically.

The JUMP model allows you to build crosswalks between schemas in a method known as Model Driven Integration. JUMP is a tool for facilitating transformation of metadata between heterogeneous services and schema. JUMPER does this using a technology that ‘translates’ between different metadata element sets. The elements (or fields) in one metadata set are correlated with the elements of another metadata set that have the same or similar meanings. These element sets are aligned using a metamodel called JUMP.
